As of this update, EggTrack follows a data-minimization approach:
- User-entered app data: collections, chicken profile details (name, breed, photo, egg color).
- Local technical data: display preferences, language.
- Contact data: only when you submit the website contact form.
EggTrack does not sell personal data and does not use third-party ad profiling.
3. Purposes
- Provide egg tracking features and statistics.
- Power progression mechanics (levels, XP, badges).
- Handle and respond to contact requests.
4. Legal basis
- Performance of the service requested by the user.
- Legitimate interest for security, maintenance, and abuse prevention.
- Consent when you voluntarily contact us via form or email.
5. Local storage
Egg tracking data is primarily stored locally on your iOS device. If cloud synchronization is added later, this policy will be updated before broad release.
6. Third parties
EggTrack currently does not integrate ad networks or automatic data sharing with marketing partners. The website contact form is handled server-side to route your message to support.
7. Retention period
- App data: kept on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Contact messages: kept as long as needed to resolve the request, then archived or deleted.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable regulations, you may request:
- Access to contact-related personal data we process.
- Correction or deletion of that data.
- Restriction or objection to certain processing where legally applicable.
